Job Description

Role Description

The Bakery Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery production facility. This includes managing production schedules, supervising staff, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing and a strong understanding of bakery production, as well as excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, manage, and motivate a team of bakers, operators, and production staff.
* Oversee daily production schedules and ensure production goals are met in a timely manner.
* Ensure all products meet company quality standards and food safety regulations.
* Monitor and optimize production efficiency to reduce costs and waste.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
* Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure adequate supplies and raw materials are available.
* Develop and implement production processes and procedures to improve workflow.
* Implement and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring all safety guidelines are followed.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in bakery production or food manufacturing, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and food safety standards.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
