General Worker Electrician Construction Site

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes. The ideal applicant must possess a recognized qualification certificate in electrical work and have experience working on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures according to safety and code regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics to determine wiring layouts.
• Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure proper grounding, wiring, and circuit installations to prevent electrical hazards.
• Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical work into overall project plans.
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches for faults or damage.
• Operate and maintain electrical tools and equipment safely.
• Ensure strict compliance with local and national electrical codes and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to apprentices or junior electricians when required.

Requirements
Education & Certification:
• Qualification Certificate in Electrical Work (Required).
• Valid electrician’s license (as per local regulations).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician in a construction setting.
• Experience with commercial and residential electrical systems.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, wiring systems, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.
Work Conditions:
• Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor construction environments.
• May involve lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project needs.
