Job Description

Our Client is a mixed-use property development in Cape Town combining office, retail, residential and leisure components in an integrated, stimulating and aesthetically pleasing urban environment. They are looking for a Graphic Designer/Marketing Co-ordinator in their Century City offices.
Duties include:
• Create artwork conceptualisation and graphic design:
o Able to work independently and timeously on supplied briefs.
o Develop graphics for event illustrations, logos, social media, signage, branding, and other project as and when required.
o Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
o Communicate a design brief and specs to printers and if necessary, external designers.
o Design, create and manage weekly emailers and monthly e-newsletters and other projects as and when required.

• Assist with the coordination and organisation of all events:
o Assist in managing the applications and bookings for events
o Liaise with relevant parties on approval procedures for all applications
o Liaise with service providers
o On-site assistance at events
o Managing guest-lists
o Maintain events calendar for Century City stakeholders
o Photography of events an advantage

• Management of the media platform including:
o Reaching out to clients for monthly advertising sales and special offers
o Liaising with clients
o Artwork administration
o Media Space Bookings and Sales

• Provide assistance/support to the Brand and Marketing Manager including:
o Basic administration and support
o Distribution and management of promotional and advertising materials
o Managing photo archives

Minimum Requirements:
• Graphic Design experience & qualifications
• Relevant marketing and digital marketing experience
• Relevant events experience
• Animation skill is an advantage
• Basic video editing is an advantage
• Excellent command of the English language
• Good writing skills

Experience with relevant design and social media programs
• Adobe Creative Suite

• Mailchimp
