Job Description

Restaurant Group based in Port Elizabeth & St. Francis Bay is looking for a PA to the Restaurant Director based in St. Francis.

Your primary role is to provide administrative support, ensuring the Director's tasks are handled efficiently and effectively, freeing them to focus on strategic duties. This will include debtors & creditors management and assisting with payroll.

Duties:

Scheduling and Calendar Management: Manage the manager's schedule, including meetings, appointments, and events.

Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing communication (emails, phone calls, etc.) on behalf of the manager.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of important documents, reports, and other relevant information.

Data Entry and Processing: Enter and process data into relevant systems, such as inventory, customer information, or financial records.

Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel arrangements for the manager, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.

Expense Reporting: Assist with preparing and submitting expense reports.

Office Management: Ensure the office space is organized and stocked with necessary supplies.

Event Planning: Assist with planning and coordinating events at the restaurant, such as parties, banquets, or special occasions.

Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.

Staff Management: Assist with scheduling, training, and managing staff.

Requirements:

Grade 12

Formal qualifications

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Sound financial and payroll skills (Sage)

Sound hospitality systems knowledge (Marketman / Lightspeed)

Sound accounting system skills (Xero)

Valid driver’s license and able to travel between St. Francis Bay & Port Elizabeth.

Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.

Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.

Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
