Job Description

Our client is in the medical supplies space, based in Midrand and they are looking for a strong Administrator to join their team.

Primary Focus: Procurement planning, cross-department coordination, and documentation follow-up
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain procurement planning tracker (usage, stock, reorder level)
• Review weekly stock levels and forecast procurement needs
• Submit purchase requisitions to management for approval
• Track deliveries and update ETA log weekly
• Compile weekly operations report (stock risks, supplier delays, open tasks)
• Follow up on procurement requisitions and ensure requests are complete and verified before PO is raised
• Monitor delivery timelines and proactively flag delays
• Coordinate reports needed by sales, management and warehouse teams
• Provide general ad hoc support to management and departments, especially during projects, audits, tenders, or urgent issues
• Support project management tasks including tracking deadlines, creating checklists, and coordinating tasks with different departments
Secondary Support:
• Collect and file supporting documentation (e.g., staff training, calibration certificates)
• Assist management with projects
• Provide updates on fleet maintenance, fire safety and building upkeep
Role Requirements (for Job Ad):
• 3+ years experience in operations, supply chain or administrative planning
• High proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, pivot tables)
• Experience coordinating across departments (sales, warehouse, finance)
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics industry preferred
• ERP experience (e.g., Acumatica, SAP, Sage) is advantageous but not mandatory
