Job Description

The purpose of a Utility Porter is to provide support to the maintenance and operations staff by performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of a facility. This may include maintenance of equipment, cleaning and organizing the facility, transporting materials and equipment, and other duties as required. The Utility Porter is responsible for ensuring the facility is safe and secure, and that all maintenance and operations tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Utility Porter Duties
Maintain and clean utility areas of the facility
Transport materials and equipment to designated locations
Perform basic repairs to equipment and facilities
Assist with set up and take down of events
Follow safety protocols

Utility Porter Skills
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Ability to identify and safely use cleaning supplies and equipment
Strong organizational skills
Good communication skills
