General work/Driver

Introduction
The General Worker and drivers will be responsible for supporting the site’s operational and housekeeping needs through manual labour, material handling, and assistance with production and maintenance activities. This role requires a physically fit reliable, and disciplined individual who is willing to work in a shift environment and perform duties that involve physical effort and adherence to safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning of work areas pathways and plant equipment.
Assist with manual loading unloading, and movement of materials and products on-site.
Support plant operators and technicians during routine maintenance and production activities.
Adhere to all safety procedures PPE requirements, and company rules while on duty.
Participate in team briefings, safety talks, and daily task planning sessions.
Assist with equipment preparation and packing of products when required.
Comply with instructions from supervisors team leaders and safety officers.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric Grade 12 Certificate Essential
Minimum 1 year of experience in manual labour, general work, or site support Essential
Must be physically fit and capable of standing, lifting, and moving materials for extended periods
Willing and able to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and standby rotation Essential
Able to follow instructions and operate within a team environment
