Job Position: Business Development / Sales Rep (Logistics and Transportation)

Location: PE/Gqeberha or Johannesburg
Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience
“Logistics company looking for a dynamic sales-driven person with experience in logistics / transportation with a main focus on bringing in new business and growing the company’s presence in Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg”
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Minimum of Matric
• Valid drivers license and own transportation
• Incumbent needs to be able to converse in English and Afrikaans (predominantly an Afrikaans customer base)
• Sales experience in a transport/logistics environment
• Knowledge of the relevant markets (existing client base or network would be an advantage)
• Skilled in securing new clients and maintaining long-term partnerships
• Confident communicator, competitive nature with solid negotiations skills
• Self-driven, dynamic and target focused - someone who enjoys a “hunter” role
• Contactable references and stable track record
