Job Specification
You will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and ongoing management of the venue. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, from business development and team recruitment to event execution. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction while maximising revenue and profitability. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, standards, and reputation of a brand-new venue from the ground up.
Minimum Requirements:
• Qualification in Hospitality Management and related qualifications.
• 3 – 5 years Senior Management experience in an F&B environment.
• Experience in operations, financial and staff management
• Proven experience as a General Manager in hospitality, event and venue management
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the pre-opening planning and set up of the venue.
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team by conducting regular performance reviews.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the venue, including staff management, scheduling, and event bookings and coordination.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Monitor and improve customer service standards to ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Create and implement marketing strategies in collaboration with the owner and marketing team.
